In order to help companies manage their customer service, Whatsapp will launch a new solution for businesses. This will allow companies connect with their customers easily and provide a professional platform to monitor all the communications in an official way.

WhatsApp Business will be free for small-to-medium sized businesses, with a paid version targeted at larger enterprises with "a global base of customers, like airlines, e-commerce sites, and banks".

In a recent blog post, Whatsapp wrote that it want to offer "an easier way to respond to messages." and simplify the process of  "placing an order with a local bakery or looking at new styles from a clothing store”. This clearly undergo a major transformation of the way people and brands interact while presaging a renewal of the customer relationship management.

WhatsApp business will have verified profiles that include information such as a business’s address, website link, office number, working hours and a small description. These verified professional accounts will be will be endowed of a green checkmark to help users differentiate them from personal and fake accounts.

Furthermore, to sweep aside all fear of being spammed by companies, WhatsApp will give its users the ability to block businesses if they wish to prevent a business from contacting them.

In short, with the impressive penetration of WhatsApp in many countries of the world, the launching of Whatsapp Business will bring some major advantages to brands by providing them with an effective communication tool!
